I met a person who insisted on being called “The Governor” in a shady southern bar I shouldn’t have been in. The real The Governor wasn’t as bad a man as my fictional The Governor suggests he is. The real one, however, was quite a character– he wore head-to-toe white (white cowboy hat vs fictional fedora) and was up to some nefarious business I’m sure.
