Rafa already called it off once – even though it was done with the best intentions, it must have hurt Elan terribly. They need to able to talk and understand one another without either one going off half-cocked and forcing situations they think are “for the best”. Rafa is also in serious need of healing for both the trauma and guilt he suffered. Maybe they will get straight back together – I would love that to be so, but maybe they need a longer period to figure each other and themselves out.
