Dating a big badass like Rafa is one way to get that, but Rafa wasn’t into it. So punishing a big badass like Rafa by making him do what Hudson wants is the next best thing in Hudson’s view.

Every one of Hudson’s actions have been about him proving that he is smarter, hipper, and more cultured than everyone else. His good graces extend only to those willing to go along with that. He immediately turns vengeful and ugly to anyone who challenges his fragile ego.
