    I’m glad I’m not the only one who notices birds in a city. I once missed the bus to work, because I was counting the jackdaws of the overwintering flock at my home city, when they were flying from their roosting trees to the landfill for breakfast.

    Got to about 950 (give or take 10), before the next bus came.
