  • Mischa Wilson

*sobs* please… i just want the boys back together… my heart…. i cannot take it anymore…

  • JesBelle

Oh no! He sleeps with my journal!

    • kuku

And he writes in it! My journal is sleeping around on me!

  • Jeldenil

What is your delusional explanation for the glasses, Elan?

  • bronakopdin

OH YES HE WILL READ RAFA’S COMMENTS NOW!!!!!!!!!!
    I’m dying here…

  • Elan, darling, there is dense, and then there is neutronium. Alas, you fall into the classification of “collapsed star.” Fear not, however, because I still love you. So does Rafa. Now, read the diary and let him catch you like a good lad.

What gets me, though? There is likely another full chapter ahead of just these lads sorting things out. From what I’ve seen they’ve never dealt with the communication issues that led to this mess in the first place! Alright, this requires a comfortable chair and a cognac. This is going to take a while.

    • Jonni

Is it that Elan is being dense, or that he needs to pull his self-esteem out of the Mariana Trench – or does that count as a causal link?

      • JesBelle

The easiest thing to convince a person of is that their fears are true. Elan’s greatest fear is that the people he loves will always abandon him. His shredded self-esteem supports that fear. His father has been gaslighting him, which leaves him unsure of how accurate his perceptions are, so he is even more likely to be what he considers “realistic” about his worth — In other words, any possible sign that Rafa loves him and has been suffering in his absence MUST be a mistake on Elan’s part and he will deny it so as not to get his hopes up.

        • Jonni

Hoist by his own defence mechanism. Frustrating, but so true to life.

        • kuku

Yeah, it can be tragically easy to convince someone that they are undesirable and unlikely to be loved.

        • Ninhursag

          Wow, very through analysis.

    • kuku

Hey, Donald, good to see you, missed you!

      • Kuku, thank you so much! I’ve missed you as well. Your words made my day!

  • He read your journal and he keeps it on his bed. Next to his pillow.

On his bed. Next to his pillow.

    • JesBelle

Like a particularly hot romance novel.

    • Red

      Next to his heart…

  • Red

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS! He’s gonna get to read Rafa’s notes!!!!!

  • Jonni

Much as my heart aches for Elan and Rafa, I refuse to feel sad for them. Sadness would require me to abandon hope for them – and that is too great a treasure to surrender.

  • kuku

Let yourself go with the ecstatic entrancement for a while, Elan, you deserve it!

  • Ninhursag

Wow, Elan has quite a rich vocabulary and way of expressing himself, fruits of a good education but also Rafa’s artistic inclination.
