“Ah, me, if this is love, then how it torments.”
― Gabriel García Márquez
Elan’s canary named after one of his favorite authors, the same author who has become Rafa’s favorite. This is the minutia that is hard to put in a webcomic.
I knew the author was unwell, so his death was not unexpected. I’ll miss you, Sr. Márquez. RIP.
Now, I will not torment you as well, back to Elan and his father!
Elan was born an old soul with a full head of hair and large soulful eyes in a poignant little face. Thus he wasn’t those endearing little bald cherubs that invite the love and attention of strangers. However, his “black sheep of the family” uncle loved him for all his infant odd qualities.
This week EMR was listed in webfictionguide.com! Check out some new fiction to read.
We see how Rafa fares in this week’s update. Did you ever doubt him?
This update comes with a trigger warning for slurs and domestic violence. Did things escalate and Elan push too far? Find out.
Update! Update! UPdate!
And I think the song fits just so perfectly again.
What seemed like a good idea has turned into a battlefield.
Lots of battles upcoming in the story and for me today. My computer decided to take a nap but woke up. I’ll have to get a new one in the next few months. I’m a Mac user because of my job, so that isn’t a slight purchase.
I’m still struggling to finish another author’s children’s book. I am learning a lot about publishing layout and can apply it to my own nefarious purposes. :P Yes, I’ve been toying with the idea of a small limited-run publishing of EMR Parts so that maybe, maybe, I can do a con. I plan to visit a con or two first to see if I can do it. I’m OK one on one/two conversations, even loquacious, but a big crowd? I don’t know.
